Led engineering and release cycles for Microsoft WordBreaker, a mission-critical linguistic engine with nearly 30 years of history that powers Bing Search and Office 365 worldwide. Architected a workflow-based NLP runtime toolkit for Office 365.

Maintained Microsoft WordBreaker, a multilingual text-segmentation engine used by Bing and Office with a 30-year history and a C++98/C++17 codebase. Improved Korean WordBreaker performance by more than 20% through stateless refactoring and replacing regular expressions with an automaton-based rule engine.
